Gerald 'DJ G SIDE' Stinson started his DJ ventures in 1983 at the age of fourteen in Southern California with the inspiration coming from his father, Gary Stinson. Gary moonlighted as a DJ on a regular basis at popular California venues and radio stations. Gerald enjoyed watching and listening to his father spin records. Another reason Gerald wanted to become a DJ was because he loves the way music sounds when blending many songs together one after another. He was also moved by the way music can be used to entertain and motivate a crowd of people.

The first few years, Gerald performed for his family and friends.  He then branched out and added school events and social gatherings to the mix. After turning eighteen and graduating high school, Gerald performed at numerous Southern California night clubs and other venues.

Gerald relocated from Southern California to the Atlanta area.  In 2003, he created GT Entertainment and turned a hobby into a full-time enjoyable business. Today, Gerald is one of the few DJ's in the Atlanta area who have not just worked in the industry consistently for well over 25 years but has also been very successful at it. He is involved in all aspects of the business from promoting to advertising to maintaining a good client relationship.  Gerald provides one-on-one, personal service to every client that comes his way.  Just from the way he performs, you would be able to tell that Gerald really enjoys what he does.

Gerald continues to update and improve on his performance through yearly attendance of national DJ conventions. He plays all genres of music and has a music library of over 27,000 song titles.  Gerald is continuously adding to his music library by subscribing to CD Pools. This also allows him to have many song titles not yet released or heard by the public.
