About G-Side

I started my DJ ventures in 1983 at the age of fourteen in Southern California with the inspiration coming from my dad, Gary. Gary moonlighted as a DJ on a regular basis at popular California venues and radio stations. I enjoyed watching and listening to him spin records. Another reason I wanted to become a DJ was because I love the way music sounds when blending many songs together one after another. I was also moved by the way music can be used to entertain and motivate a crowd of people.

The first few years I performed for my family and friends. I then branched out and added school events and social gatherings to the mix. After turning eighteen and graduating high school, I performed at numerous Southern California night clubs and other venues.

Next, I began to perform at wedding receptions. Since 1987, I have performed at dozens of wedding receptions and they are now among my favorite list of events. I really enjoy the opportunity to be involved in such a special occasion. I know that there are many DJ’s that can perform well at any event and my goal is to show my clients why they chose me instead. I hold myself to the highest of expectations, not just at wedding receptions but at all types of events. My professionalism and attention to detail is what will make me stand out above the rest.

In 2003, I created GT Entertainment and turned a 25 year hobby into a full-time profitable business. Today, I am one of the few DJ's in the Atlanta area who have not just worked in the industry consistently for well over 25 years but has also been very successful at it. I am involved in all aspects of the business from promoting to advertising to maintaining a good client relationship.  I provide one-on-one, personal service to every client that comes my way.  Just from the way I perform, you would be able to tell that I really enjoy what I do.

I continue to update and improve my performance through yearly attendance of national DJ conventions. I play all genres of music at my client's request. I currently have a music library of over 27,000 song titles and am continuously adding to it by subscribing to CD/Record Pools. This also allows me to have many song titles not yet released or heard by the public.
